How We Support You
We support you by providing guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Our team features a dynamic mix of recruiters, trainers, and youth workers. We also run personal development and employability programs for young people.
Our goal is to develop your confidence, education, and employability skills to enable you to transition into work and independence. We do this through a set of wrap-around supports and we actively build community around you which will ensure that you will be able to overcome any barriers you may face.

Future Focus
Building Workforce Confidence and Capability
Future Focus is an immersive employability skills training program designed to empower young individuals with the essential skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the modern workplace. The program is tailored to each group and run over a period 3 or 6 months.
Through a series of comprehensive workshops and engaging sessions, we equip participants with valuable skills on communication, shared problem-solving and personal leadership skills. Our program caters to both young people seeking their first job and those looking to upskill or transition to a new career path.
By emphasising practical learning and real-world scenarios, Future Focus ensures that every participant is well-prepared to tackle the challenges of the modern job market and workplace.

Short Courses
Interactive, Hands-On, Workshop-Style Learning
Our focus is on empowering young people who face barriers to employment. If you are between the age of 15-24 and facing some form of vocational and non-vocational barriers that prevent you from obtaining and sustaining employment, we encourage you to apply to our courses and programs.
We have a variety of short courses and professional development programs running all year round which are designed to equip you with essential skills and prepare you for a successful transition to paid work and independence!

YEA Hospitality
Commercial Grade Equipment
The Little Kitchen That Could is YEA’s hospitality training venue. We provide hands-on training and experience for aspiring kitchen staffs and baristas. The space is equipped with a commercial grade kitchen, espresso stations and service tables.
Whether it’s honing your cooking skills or mastering the art of crafting the perfect cup of coffee, our young participants receive top-notch guidance from industry experts.
We are not just creating skilled individuals; we’re building the workforce of tomorrow, ready to conquer the culinary world with passion and confidence.

Youth Programs Facilitation
Where Education and Empowerment Meet

YEA collaborates with schools and educational providers to deliver tailored programs for their students. YEA Hawthorn Hub is available to host these sessions or we can also host it at your preferred venue.
